We came accross this car while driving through the dessert of Namibia. It was a 50s pick-up truck left for dead. The motor fan was still spinning in the wind which made it even more creepy. A couple of hundred meters away we found some cans left behind by -probably- the owners of the car. These were literally from the 50s.
Just barely visible in this picture is the gate to the red dunes of Sossusvlei (Namibia). We were waiting for the main gate to open while the sun was slowly rising. I just lived the foggy sunrise here.
The Sossusvlei in Namibia is famous for its red-colored sand dunes. The red color is only visible on sunrise or sunset. The sky is too bright during the days. Since we were a 2 hour drive away from Sossusvlei we had to get up at 5 and drive through the dark to get there in time. Really a dangerous thing to do in Namibia with gravel roads and animals everywhere, but it was all worth it.
Even though it was like 40 degrees celcius, walking through Cinque Terre (5 villages near the coastline of Italy) was a really nice experience. If you ever get to go to Italy, visit Cinque Terre!
