This photograph was taken by me in Etosha National Park in Namibia. A wunderfull park with lots of animals that gets a bit spoiled by the massive amount of tourism. Still, views like this drinking giraffe make up for it. These animals do live in the wild, they simply ignore those metal boxes on wheels.
Springboks are a type of Gazelle's that can jump ('spring' means 'jump' in Dutch/African) really high. These two were fighting, probably over a female Springbok. Springbok meat is really nice by the way...

Elephants are the most fearsome animals when driving through parks like this. They can easily crush your vehicle like a pack of sardines.
Compared to Namibia's Etosha, Moremi Game Park is much more true to nature. There is no tarmac anywhere, just sandy roads. We have seen 2 people during an 10 hour drive through the park. It was just beautifull. This male lion was sitting behind a bush which we accidentially discovered. It didn't really care about us. This photo was taken from just a couple of meters away!
These condors fly through the Colca Canyon in Peru. At 4km of height these animals hunt for preys in the morning hours, since they are not able to fly upwards. In the morning the sun heats up the air which makes it move upward. Using that airflow the animals get back to the top of the Canyon again.
